Living the Life Naturally

At Natural Life Ranch we strive to raise the best Aussies of all sizes, with a raw food diet and the best supplements from NuVet Plus canine and other natural resources. As for vaccinations our dogs and puppies are protected with natural remedies and holistic treatments. I do not believe or practice with the intrusion of drugs and chemicals for the health of our dogs. Our goal is to better the breed without intrusive vaccinations and processed dog foods and provide more natural raw food and nature’s remedies to prevent and heal our animals. We work with Paw print Genetics for testing to make sure our dogs are the best for breeding. Our family personally cares for each dog inside our home. They are FAMILY first to us! Our dogs eat Raw meat and I am certified through Dogs Naturally Magazine for the raw diet for pets. However I am also a certified Plant Based Chef and our family only eats whole food. As believers of Christ, we want to be whole in body, soul, and spirit. Our family and animals are building bridges for others to have wholeness as well as a beautiful companion dog that is healthy and will live a long life with their forever family!

We take lots of adventure trips backpacking, hiking and camping. Our dogs, at least a couple of them at a time, travel with us and learn to be outdoors in the wild! American Stock Dog Registry (ASDR) and American Kennel Club (AKC) are our clubs that we are registered through. Our Aussies are beautiful and pure bred as well as being reared naturally!Ā

A “natural rearing breeder” is a dog or cat breeder who focuses onĀ raising their animals as close to their natural wild state as possible, prioritizing a raw diet, minimal vaccinations, holistic health practices, and a focus on providing a natural environment to promote optimal health and well-being, rather than relying heavily on commercial pet food and conventional veterinary treatments;Ā essentially, aiming to breed animals with the best possible health by mimicking their ancestral lifestyle.Ā

Key points about natural rearing breeders:

  • Diet:
Primarily feed their animals a raw diet, consisting of uncooked meat, bones, and organs, mirroring what their wild ancestors would eat.
  • Vaccinations:
May opt for a reduced vaccination schedule or use only titer testing to determine the need for vaccinations.

    ā€¢ ā€¢ Holistic healthcare:

Utilize alternative therapies like acupuncture, herbal remedies, and aromatherapy alongside conventional veterinary care when necessary.Ā

  • Environmental enrichment:
Provide ample space for exercise, natural stimuli, and opportunities for mental stimulation.Ā
  • Genetic selection:
Carefully choose breeding pairs with a strong health history, focusing on minimizing the risk of inherited diseases.Ā

Why choose a natural rearing breeder:

  • Potential for better health:
By prioritizing a natural lifestyle, these breeders aim to raise dogs and cats with fewer health issues compared to those raised on traditional methods.

ā€¢ ā€¢ Ethical concerns:
Some people prefer natural rearing practices due to concerns about the potential negative effects of commercial pet food and certain vaccination protocols

GroomingĀ

Most dirt and mud can just brush right off the coat of an Aussie. The coat is low maintenance and very beautiful especially in the sunlight where it shines! To keep it gorgeous weekly brushing will help with tangle, dander and dust. We recommend a large slicker brush which usually does a good job. Smaller brush for puppies and be gentle, this is a bonding experience. Every other week toenail clipping and teeth cleaning should be your grooming routine.

I would like to thank you and your successful dog breeding business for the gift of Ginger. She is without exception the most intelligent and loving pet I've ever had. For an update on her condition I felt it was my responsibility to keep you informed. She has had all of her shots, microchipped, and successfully spayed before her first estres. She is completely house trained without incident and lets us know anytime she needs to go outside to take care of business. She has gained three pounds and is the fastest dog I've ever had. Lord can she sprint. She is constantly trying to sneak sticks and pinecones in the house for personal pleasure that keeps us on our toes. She is so fun and funny sometimes. Very intelligent. Thanks again from my wife and I. 10-2-2023 Hi Stephanie. Ginger just had her first long distance adventure on a trip to eastern Oregon. She was with me fishing on the Snake River. She was right at home in our RV and did famously down on the water. She got so excited when I caught a fish and had to sniff everything. Dana joined us the following weekend and Ginger was so excited to see her. She was barking and wining and bouncing and I don't think I've ever seen her tail wag that fast. She returned home with Dana last Wednesday and handled the trip both ways just fine. She no longer gets car sick and seems to enjoy the ride. There isn't any problem getting her in our car anymore. She still remains shy of other people other than Dana and I but that really isn't a bad thing. She is a lot of fun when playing with her tennis ball but likes playing keep away more than chasing after it. Her favorite game. She is healthy and very happy in her forever home and we are happy she is a part of our family. Thanks for checking. It was good to hear from you. Gary and Cathy
